Free Batteries & Scotch Tape at Staples!

 Staples has a easy rebate system that is almost foolproof.  First go to Staples Rewards Center and sign up for their program. You will then get a .pdf of a temporary card with your Rewards account number on it.

Take this to Staples and purchase Duracell Batteries AA or AAA for $12.99 being sure to show your Staples card.  Staples is offering a FULL rebate of $12.99 on these - who doesn't need more batteries?  In a couple of days, sign onto your Rewards Account and your rebate will be on your account.  Staples Rewards are issued monthly when the value of the Reward is at least $10. Monthly Reward balances of less than $10 will roll over each month until the minimum is met for that calendar quarter. Your rebate comes in the form of a Staples check that can be used toward any purchase at Staples.

My sister first introduced me to Ebates over a year ago but I only really remembered to use during my Christmas shopping period this last year.  Every time I made a purchase online for anything, I went to Ebates first, found the store and it will say Earn 2% back or 5% back.  Once you are signed in, click on the link for the store and Ebates creates a ticket for you.

So if you go to Kohls (2% back) and spend $100, you will see a $2 credit on your Ebates account in a couple of days.  I once got 16% back on Gap for kids during a special deal.  It really adds up.  Then 4 times a year, you will get a"Big Fat Check" which they will either mail to you or you can have it sent directly to your Paypal account.  I was thrilled with my Big Fat Check of $35 this past quarter but my sister smoked me with over $80.  She made me proud. $3 and $2 Huggies Diapers Coupons!

There are some Great Coupons right now on Coupon.com but these ones for Huggies are stand outs!  I haven't had to buy diapers for a while but $3 off 1 and $2 off 1 always help with the budget.  There are also some great coupons for Cheerios, Kraft's Homestyle Mac & Cheese and Googurts (that was a typo but I think it fits!).  Print them while they are available.  I have seen some great sales on these items in stores.

Having just moved, we have been without Cable TV for a couple of weeks and I am amazed at how much I have enjoyed it!  Having said that, the girls love their Disney channel so I went online and found that Disney has posted tons of full length versions on there.  There is Handy Mandy, the new Jake & the Neverland Pirates, Chuggington and more.  We just hook it to our TV and we have instant Disney on Demand!  Watch Now . . .

Food Co-op's . . . Bountiful Baskets

So my first week using Bountiful Baskets in Grapevine, TX turned out perfectly!  Look at all these lovely fruits and veggies!  I first learned about Co-ops by reading a friends blog but unfortunately we have not been settled enough to enjoy one.  I was like a kid in a candy store when I got home, overly excited for what I got for $15 : )  My husband and I make Green Smoothies every morning so these mangoes and pears will be perfect in them.
