My sister first introduced me to Ebates over a year ago but I only really remembered to use during my Christmas shopping period this last year. Every time I made a purchase online for anything, I went to Ebates first, found the store and it will say Earn 2% back or 5% back. Once you are signed in, click on the link for the store and Ebates creates a ticket for you.
So if you go to Kohls (2% back) and spend $100, you will see a $2 credit on your Ebates account in a couple of days. I once got 16% back on Gap for kids during a special deal. It really adds up. Then 4 times a year, you will get a"Big Fat Check" which they will either mail to you or you can have it sent directly to your Paypal account.
